Nasi Lemak Lori is a hidden gem in Setiawangsa known for their delicious Nasi Lemak and homemade Sambal. They have been a popular dinner and supper spot for nearly a decade. Make sure to visit this place for a truly memorable dining experience.

"Wow, that sambal is really spicy and flavorful!"

Abang Hisham started his love for Nasi Lemak with his foster family in Melaka. He learned how to make Nasi Lemak from scratch, focusing on perfecting the Sambal. He ensures that all his ingredients are fresh and made by hand. He even prepares the spicy chili paste himself and only uses hand-cut and deseeded dried chilies to give it that fiery kick in every mouthful!

The Nasi Lemak is simple and uncomplicated. Abang Hisham follows the exact recipe his foster mother used without making any changes. It has a creamy yet light texture, with a noticeable hint of ginger that enhances the richness of the dish and makes you want to add more.

It's not Nasi Lemak if you don't eat it with fried chicken, right? At Nasi Lemak Lori, they prepare it with a blend of 10 different spices! The fried chicken is cooked in batches to ensure each order is served hot and crispy. The skin is crispy and the meat is juicy, making it a delicious combination with the fragrant rice. This is definitely a dish worth trying!

The sambal sotong here is amazing! It's made from the original sambal used for nasi lemak, but with a secret ingredient that makes it sweeter and complements the flavor of the sotong (squid) well. It's always freshly made and tender, making it irresistible.
